Saint Lucia Carnival

Saint Lucia Carnival is a spectacular explosion of color displaying our art, culture, music and dance.
A number of Carnival events and parties take place in the lead up to the Carnival Pageant. Titles such as Carnival Queen, Calypso Monarch, Panorama Champions, and Party & Soca Monarch are all awarded. J’ouvert starts at 4:00 am to start off the Carnival Day. Then revelers take to the streets in an array of colour as each band vies for the coveted title of “Band of the Year” during the 2-day Parade of Bands.
Chocolate Heritage Month

La Rose Flower Festival

This cultural event is one of the two Flowers Festivals “La Rose” and “La Marguerite” held annually to preserve Saint Lucia’s rich cultural memory, history and heritage. These two Flower festivals are derived from historical rival societies who sing virtues of their flowers.
“La Rose” members pledge their allegiance to the rose by dressing in the colour red and creating displays of the Rose flower.

There is endless beauty beneath the surface at Saint Lucia’s many dive sites that teem with rainbow color reefs and colorful varied marine life. To highlight the Saint Lucia Dive experience, Saint Lucia will host the 2nd annual Dive Fest which will feature five days of two (2) tank dives at different locations on island. Other activities will include a photography competition, Lion Fish Derby, a sunset cruise followed by a Night Dive and a Cultural Extravaganza.

La Marguerite Flower Festival

Many Saint Lucians observe the day as Fete La Marguerite, one of the two flower festivals held annually. The other being Fete La Rose. Their members pledge allegiance to one or the other flower and they both have unique cultural events in the life and history of Saint Lucia.
La Marguerite members dress in the colour purple and create displays of the Marguerite flower in addition to singing their traditional songs.
